On Sunday mornings, you are invited to park in our main parking lot off of John Redd Blvd. There is a limited amount of parking in our upper parking lot off of Daniels Creek Rd. Both the main entrance under the portico and the upper entrance off of the upper parking lot are open before Sunday school and until abount 10:45am. After 10:45am, we ask that you come to the main entrance in the main parking lot. If you come in the entrance off the main parking lot, please proceed up the stairs for Sunday School or Worship. During the week, we use the main entrance off of John Redd Boulevard except for scheduled events like Bible Study.
On Sunday mornings, you will find people in their Sunday best, in jeans and a shirt, and everywhere in between. We invite you to come as you are and join us on Sunday mornings.
Folks tend to gather in the gathering area for coffee and fellowship around 9am. They work their way to Sunday School between 9:15 and 9:30.
We have an elementary Sunday School Class and a Middle/High School Class.
We gave 3 adult Sunday school classes:
The Wesley Seeker‘s Class an older adult women's class using traditional quarterly Sunday School Material.
The Latecomers Class is an adult class that uses the traditional quarterly Sunday school curriculum from Cokesbury.
The Newcomers Class is an adult class that does book studies by various authors.
Our Worship service is Sunday mornings at 10:30am in person and online.
We have a blended style of worship that alternates between anthems led by a choir and praise music led by a praise team. In worship you will find the liturgy and prayers of traditional Methodist worship alongside old hymns and praise and worship music. We also have a children's sermon to include our younger disciples in worship. Presently, we take communion on the odd Sundays of the month (1st, 3rd, 5th).
We offer a nursery for children 5 and under if needed. However, we love having all of God's children in worship. A little noise doesn't bother us.
Outside of some breaks during the summer, we have Bible Study and Morning prayer most Wednesday mornings. The United Women in Faith and the United Methodist Men typically meet September through May. Please check our calendar for upcoming events.
During the week, folks typically use our Main Entrance unless a scheduled event is upstairs.
